Roisin Murphy in Gareth Pugh
This song has been out for a while now, but I only just saw the video for Roisin Murphy’s Overpowered. The former Moloko frontwoman was never really a favourite, but when I saw her wearing this amazing Gareth Pugh outfit, she gained some credibility in my books. The video is also the perfect depiction of the horrors of getting home after a night out in London. (The guy in the bus… I’ve met him several times.)
Call me a groupie, but Gareth Pugh is probably the best young designer out there. His last show absolutely blew me away (despite the 1h45 wait) and I’m counting the days until Sept 16, when he’s next showing. I’ll do a post on him soon.
